Emerge Community Services is a community-focused organization dedicated to providing personalized support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve independence, build meaningful relationships, and fully participate in their communities.
We believe in the power of individualized care and community integration. Through our comprehensive range of services and supports, we help each person we serve develop the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive.
Emerge Community Services added value comes from real-time mentorship and regular in-person oversight for the entire team from the company CEO, an occupational therapist with more than ten years of experience supporting individuals with autism in Pennsylvania. Emerge Community Services was founded by Heather Buffington, an occupational therapist whose passion is helping individuals find their voice to advocate for autonomy and independence.
